The Shadowhunter Chronicles
Cassandra ClareCassie’s books have had my heart for years. A new Shadowhunter book still jumps ahead of almost anything else on my TBR.
A cozy corner for readers — sharing fantasy favorites, lifelong book loves, Central Florida bookish happenings and the stories that stay with us long after the last page.

My love for books started long before romantasy filled my shelves.
In elementary school, I was a Goosebumps kid. Books were what I asked for on birthdays and Christmas. Through high school I mostly read for assignments — until, right after graduation, someone gifted me Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
I fell completely in love. I went to the book releases, reread every book while waiting for the next one, and years later shared that magic with my own kids through bedtime stories and movie premieres.
Then came Twilight. And then my husband bought me the paperback set of The Mortal Instruments — and I devoured it. Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunter world became one of those fictional places that never really leaves you. I’ve met Cassie five times, sometimes traveling hours for her events, and a new Cassandra Clare book will still jump ahead of almost anything else on my TBR.
That love of fantasy led me to Richelle Mead, Holly Black, Kiera Cass, J.R. Ward and eventually the incredible fantasy and romantasy filling my shelves today.
Bookish Soul Vibes is for the books we’re obsessed with now — and the stories we’ve loved for twenty years.
Popular doesn’t automatically mean all-time favorite. These are some of the stories that helped make me the reader I am.
Cassie’s books have had my heart for years. A new Shadowhunter book still jumps ahead of almost anything else on my TBR.
Book releases, endless rereads, bedtime stories with my kids and movie premieres — this series became part of our family story.
For a long time, Harry Potter and Twilight were the two series ruling my bookshelves.
Vampire Academy was great too, but Dark Swan is the Richelle Mead series I remember truly loving.
Romance, competition, gorgeous dresses and dystopian drama — an easy forever recommendation from my shelves.
Vampires, romance, brotherhood and a world that keeps expanding. Once you’re in, you’re committed.
